Temperature conversions C°

In Canada and most all of the world uses the International System of Units (SI) for measuring everything, including temperature. Temperature is expressed as degrees Celsius (C°). The standard for measuring temperature is the Celsius Scale, where 0°C is the exact point where common water freezes and 100°C is the exact point at which it boils.

In the United States the standard for measuring temperature is the Fahrenheit Scale, expressed as degrees Fahrenheit (F°). In this scale water freezes at 32°F and boils at 212°F. (Mr. Fahrenheit had established 0ºF as the stabilized temperature when equal amounts of ice, water, and salt are mixed. He then defined 96ºF as the temperature 'when the thermometer is held in the mouth or under the armpit of a living man in good health'.)

Obviously it's nice to have a handy (online) calculator:
DigitalDutch.com – this not only allows Celsius < - - - > Fahrenheit conversions but additionally Kelvin, Rankine and Réaumure.
